Jesse Miller ‘Untitled’ 1996
Acrylic on Canvas 5′ * 6′
Private Collection Costa Mesa, CA
This was Jesse’s first oversized painting. The three panel painting is a psychedelic milestone in art. Innumerable faces and bodies lay hidden and contorted, melting and shifting through out the entire composition. While staring at this piece it seems to absolutely come alive! One of the things that I love is that it is such a time piece marking Jesse stylisticly at the time. It has every element of his creativity at that point in his development. Also, no one can be without an opinion in this painting. It is a love it or hate it piece of art.. no one hesitates to pick their side.

Jesse Miller 2005
Acrylic, Canvas, Leaded Glass,
and Carved Wood
Private Collection Irvine, CA
This is a very popular piece of Jesse Miller’s. Many people have asked if he could make another just like it, but that is not likely. I love how he used two different types of glass for the same color blue in the sky and sea. They reflect differently, that is the only difference. The sky is clear, while the glass in the sea is rippled.

Unfortunately, at this point in time I have yet to meet Bambang Wiwoho personally. When I return to Indonesia this June I plan to meet with him. At that point I will update this page with the information and photos.
Thank You!
