This one is a collectors piece! Usually, when Jason Monet paints boats in East Bali he is painting the front or side view in order to show the billfish-type nose on the bow of the boats. This one is painted from behind. Also, it has the orange sun canopy above the main section of the boat. The vibrent colors of canopy and boat seem to frame the fisherman in the arch of the pontoon. Behind the boat the first hunter green tree dances to life with forms and faces.
