This was my first love of Jason Monet. I went to Padang Bai’s Blue Lagoon with Jason and his four daughters on this day and I can still hear the afternoon in my mind as I look at it. Jason and I carried his gear over the hill to the lagoon and then he painted while the rest of us frolliced in the sand and water. The ocean reminds me of something that Van Gogh would have painted if he were in Bali. One day after he painted it I purchased this painting. It has proven to be quite a good investment as I am sure your Jason Monet purchase will be as well.
