Miller Untitled

untitled

Jesse Miller ‘Untitled’ 1996

Acrylic on Canvas 5′ * 6′
Private Collection Costa Mesa, CA
This was Jesse’s first oversized painting. The three panel painting is a psychedelic milestone in art. Innumerable faces and bodies lay hidden and contorted, melting and shifting through out the entire composition. While staring at this piece it seems to absolutely come alive! One of the things that I love is that it is such a time piece marking Jesse stylisticly at the time. It has every element of his creativity at that point in his development. Also, no one can be without an opinion in this painting. It is a love it or hate it piece of art… no one hesitates to pick their side.
