Absolutely beautiful! This is a wonderful representation of one of the most paradise like coves in Bali. Amed Beach has been painted by many artists, and it always seems to bring out their best work. This place has an incredible energy. Obviously, Kerry Pendergrast was feeling that energy on this particular day, because Amed is some of her best work to date in my opinion.

Meeting Kerry Pendergrast

After discovering Pranoto’s Gallery I soon learned that he was not the only artist in the family. He was married to an extremely creative woman named Kerry Pendergrast. She had quite a bit of work hanging on his gallery walls and I was drawn to its commercial qualities while having the integrity of true art. I quickly pick out a few pieces and decided that she would be a great addition to JL Galleries. We were unable to meet until a few weeks later due to the fact that she was in Australia on a painting and spending time with her relatives trip. Not long after she came home and her husband Pranoto introduced us. A few weeks later we announced her affiliation with JL Galleries by donating a piece painted in Amed to a charity that provides therapeutic horse back ridding for handicap children. The piece sold in silent auction for nearly double the suggested retail value. Cheers to Kerry Pendergrast!
